LIFE IS HERE FOR ME
What do we do when life is seemingly not going our way?
Over the past few months, a theme that has been coming up for myself, as well as my clients, is trusting that life is here for me, rather than against me.
How could what is happening in your life be there for you?
3 KEYS TO RESILIENCE
At some stage in our lives, we all have to deal with challenging times, whether that be the difficulties that we may face individually, or that we face as a collective; or other periods in our life when we experience change, loss or hardship.
The good news is that you can affect how you respond to those times, and you have the ability to increase mental fitness, or what we could call resilience.
The more resilient you are, the more you’re able to find a sense of calm, even when what might be going on around you can feel very turbulent; you have less extreme ups and downs, and can recover more quickly from setbacks.
ADJUSTING TO AUTUMN
We are at the equinox with equal light in both hemispheres. For those in the South, it means our days are slowly going to get shorter and shorter, and we need to start adjusting our bodies accordingly.
Both in Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, they believe the start of the season is when we are more susceptible to illness and it’s important to boost our immune system.
Autumn also relates to grief and letting go. You can be in tune with this by letting go emotionally of old beliefs, patterns and judgements that may be blocking you from moving forward.
5 EMOTIONS AND WHAT THEY CAN TELL YOU ABOUT YOUR BODY
Your body has an innate capacity to heal itself, yet in our busy lives we have tended to become disconnected from our true nature.
Traditional medicine treats symptoms rather than looking for the underlying cause of where this arises, which has its roots in your mind, thoughts and emotions.
By looking at the emotion and what is going on in the subconscious mind we can provide the conscious mind with knowledge so that you can understand the patterning, and begin to create considered action and change.
BEING IN FLOW WITH CHANGE
Change is the one constant in life, it can arrive upon us gradually, or happen in the blink of an eye, sometimes by choice, or it can come along and blindside us, turning our lives upside down.
The more we can get comfortable with impermanence, and in fact even take a hand in consciously creating the change in our lives, the more we will feel a sense of flow and ease in our day to day.
How kinesiology can help with anxiety
Anxiety, can be defined by persistent, excessive worries that don't go away even in the absence of a stressor, but the physical reactions are similar as if you were under threat.
The primary emotion of anxiety is an expression of fear. Fear is an emotional and physiological response to perceived threat.
In Kinesiology we can work with your nervous system to help calm the body and mind and bring emotional balance, relieving the anxiety itself.
Understand the chakra System
The definition of the word chakra is wheel or disk, and the 7 main centres lie where your major nerve bundles come together along the front and back of the spine.
When any one is out of balance it can affect the entire whole, so you want to bring them into coherency and operating together, as they each hold potential to bring you into harmony and empowerment within your life. I do this within Kinesiology.
